Publishing and printed textile
I create designs for application to cards, gifts and textile and am open to commissions. I currently have over 70 different greetings card designs available and am always looking to stock new retailers, especially small independents.
A small collection of designs is now available through Spoonflower where you can order fabric to use in your own creative projects. Several designs inspired by my garden can be found in my Spoonflower shop.
Recent homeware ranges include Garden Cats which were initially just greetings cards but now also available as coasters, trivets, double oven mitts and tea towels.
Some textile prints are available as a muslin scarf. 'Joyful', 'Magic Garden' and 'Happy Days', all inspired by simple bird and flower shapes with cheerful colours to lift your spirits.
Combining painting, print, drawing and collage allows ideas to evolve and new designs to emerge.
My folk art cat designs were developed from the beautiful embroideries found in Estonian traditional costume, inspired by my personal family heritage. Brightly coloured motifs based on botanical themes featured on blouses, headwear and shoes worn for special occasions. Costumes with these patterns are still worn today for cultural events and song and dance festivals. These designs are available as sets of coasters and placemats as well as cards. The tableware is printed on a premium melamine finish backed with cork giving them high heat resistance and a durable scratch resistant finish. All mats come in a recyclable boxed packaging.
All can be purchased in the cat designs section of my website shop.
I have also produced a series of needlepoint tapestry designs for Cleopatra's Needle, a British company specialising in premium needlepoint kits.
